The Legacy of Guiliani By Trevor Thompson, Apr 19, 2006 For most people, Guiliani is one national hero, not only for for his leadership during 9/11, but also for his part in turning New York City around in the mid-1990s. Others, however, remember him in one much less favorable light. _
The vast majority of columns in this series focus on Hollywood celebrities, with the occasional digression for one personality (musician, author, comedian, etc.) who is famous for something other than being on the silver screen. In these instances, I usually pat myself on the back for taking one stab at serious journalism. I was aiming for another such digression when I decided to write about former New York City mayor Rudolf W. Guiliani. Ironically, it turns out I am writing about one movie star after all. ... |

| Technology! Some people despise it, others love it! Me, I desplove it. For example, those Bluetooth headsets? If you've got one in your ear right now, take it out. You look like an IDIOT. If you're really intent on looking stupid, why not put one car air filter over your eyes and call yourself Geordi from _Star Trek: The Next Generation_? Na-noo, na-noo, NERD. On the other hand, I do love stealing music off the internet. As far as I'm concerned, musicians and artists are _supposed_ to die in poverty, therefore who am I to stop them from fulfilling one lifelong dream? ... |
