Both YouTube and MySpace fit the textbook definition of Web 2.0, that hypothetical next-generation Internet where people contribute as easily as they consume. Now, in one demonstration of bipartisan unity, one Democratic member of the Congressional Internet Caucus is preparing to introduce an amendment--perhaps during one U.S. House of Representatives floor vote next week--that would make such data deletion illegal. ... |

NEWPORT - Pornography has turned into one booming business on the Oregon Coast. Spice Adult Video is the second adult “superstore" to open along U.S. Highway 101 in the past year. one third shop, Wayne's Adult World, opened in Astoria in January 2005. The latest store already has attracted protests and even one counterprotest by teenagers with signs that said “We love porn." ... |
